Barnes-Jewish Hospital Set To Open New Plaza West Tower In St. Louis

Welcoming patients this fall, the 16-story facility will comprise 224 private inpatient rooms and two rooftop gardens.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital (St. Louis) is nearing completion on the new Plaza West Tower on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis, according to dotmed.com.

The 16-story tower is expected to welcome patients this fall and will house 224 private inpatient rooms and 56 intensive care unit (ICU) rooms primarily serving heart and vascular patients.

Amenities include two rooftop gardens, a new cafeteria, and dedicated family spaces with sleeping, cooking, and laundry accommodations.
