Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center (Perth Amboy, N.J.) has started construction on a new behavioral health unit in Perth Amboy.
The inpatient center will provide geriatric psychiatric care and dual diagnosis (psychiatry/addiction) services with plans for other specialty care programs to be added to the unit in the future.
Project completion is expected in the first quarter of 2023.
