Broward Health (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) has opened a new 16,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department (ED) in Sunrise, Fla., according to a news release.
Broward Health Sunrise Emergency Room houses 15 private exam rooms, dedicated resuscitation rooms, and advanced diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients.
The project team includes HKS (architect; Orlando, Fla.), Skanska (builder; Maitland, Fla.), and Concord Healthcare Development (owner’s representative; Nashville, Tenn.).
