Builders Complete Inpatient Treatment Center In Missouri
Wiegmann Associates has completed HVAC work on the new two-story, 53,000-square-foot Harris House Intensive Inpatient Treatment Center in St. Charles, Mo. Wiegmann served as engineer of record (EOR) and design/build mechanical contractor of the new alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. Kadean Construction was the general contractor and Arcturis was the architect.
Wiegmann’s HVAC solution for the 53,000-square-foot facility features Rooftop Variable Air Volume (VAV) system with rooftop units, energy recovery units, VAV boxes, and Fan Terminal Units (FTU). The HVAC system meets the owner’s goal of operating efficiently 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with the capability to serve only portions of the building at times. Wiegmann also installed a Delta Controls Building Automation System (BAS) with 79 zones. The system’s enteliWEB graphical interface centralizes the building management operation for the client.
