Catholic Health (Buffalo, N.Y.) is planning a new hospital in Lockport, N.Y., according to an article in wgrz.com.
The 60,000-square-foot “neighborhood” hospital, located in eastern Niagara County, will become an off-site campus of Catholic Health’s Mount St. Mary’s Hospital (Lewiston, N.Y.), which will operate the 10-bed facility.
Situated on 22 acres, the one-story hospital will include emergency, imaging, and laboratory services, in addition to primary care, women’s health, and specialty practices.
Construction is expected to begin in October and it is slated to open in 2023.
