Cedars-Sinai Nears Completion On Replacement Hospital In Marina Del Rey, California

The glass exterior on the 9-story building is completed, and the facility is expected to open later this year.

Healthcare provider Cedars-Sinai (Los Angeles) is nearing completion on a replacement facility for Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital in Marina Del Rey, Calif., according to Urbanize Los Angeles.

The glass exterior on the 9-story tower is now complete.

The project replaces a 1970s-era facility and will house 96 patient beds when it opens later this year. The facility will also include operating rooms, cardiac catheterization and gastroenterology labs, interventional procedural suites, and an expanded emergency department.

The project is designed by HDR (Los Angeles).
