Centra Health (Lynchburg, Va.) and Lifepoint Rehabilitation (Brentwood, Tenn.) have opened Centra Rehabilitation Hospital on the Centra Simons Run Medical Campus in Lynchburg, Va., according to a news release.
The project comprises a 60,000-square-foot freestanding rehabilitation hospital with 50 beds, including a 12-bed brain injury unit.
Amenities include multidisciplinary therapy gyms, a specialized activities-of-daily-living suite, and outdoor courtyards to encourage patient movement and activity.
