Cherokee Nation Health Services (Tahlequah, Okla.) has opened W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Okla., according to newson6.com.

The $470 million facility houses 127 beds and is the largest tribal hospital in the U.S., according to the healthcare provider.

The hospital also features an expanded emergency and surgery center, as well as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and catheterization lab, with plans to add nuclear medicine capabilities.
