CHI Franciscan Health and Kindred Healthcare Inc. recently opened a new 60-bed rehabilitation hospital in Tacoma, Wash.
The $25 million facility will treat patients recovering from acute injuries and illness, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries and traumas, as well as amputation and orthopedic injury.
The new facility nearly doubles the existing capacity.
