Children’s Hospital New Orleans Plans $4.4M ED In Louisiana

The 11,000-square-foot, 11-bed project is part of a $300 million expansion.

Louisiana Children’s Medical Center Health (LCMC Health; New Orleans) Children’s Hospital New Orleans is planning a new pediatric emergency department (ED) in Metairie, La., according to an article in Canal Street Beat.

The new 11,000-square-foot LCMC project will include 11 beds. The ED will house emergency services and diagnostic imaging services such as CT scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.

The $4.4 million project is part of a $300 million expansion and is slated for completion in September.
