Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP; Philadelphia) closed on the purchase of a shuttered movie theater in Hamilton Township, N.J., which it plans to redevelop into a medical center, according to a news release.

The project will redevelop an AMC movie theater that closed in 2020 and sits on a 42-acre site as the pediatric care provider looks to expand further into New Jersey, reports nj.com.
