Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia To Increase Presence In Philadelphia

The hospital system purchased a 32-acre site including an 18,000-square-foot building.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP; Philadelphia) is expanding its footprint in Philadelphia, according to beckershospitalreview.

The health system purchased a 3.2-acre site about a mile from its flagship hospital for $24.75 million. The property includes an 18,000-square-foot building that is currently leased by GoPuff, a delivery company.

The health system is reportedly exploring options for the site “concurrent with our mission of providing high-quality care to patient families and collaborative work environments for our employees,” according to the website bizjournals.com.
