China has built a 1,500-room hospital for COVID-19 patients in five days after a surge of infections in Nangong, a city south of Beijing in Hebei province, reported Deutsche Welle.

The hospital is one of six facilities being built in the province, with the projects adding 6,500 rooms, according to an article in The Associated Press. A 3,000-room hospital is under construction in Shijiazhuang, the capital of the Hebei province.
