The Christ Hospital (Cincinnati) has started construction on an expansion of the labor and delivery unit at The Christ Hospital Medical Center – Liberty Township in Liberty Township, Ohio, according to a news release.
The $13 million project will add five patient rooms and 8,800 square feet on two new floors on the back side of the hospital. The new rooms will include spaces for hydrotherapy births.
The project team includes Champlin Architecture (architect; Cincinnati), CMTA Engineering (consulting engineer; Columbus, Ohio), Schaefer Inc. (structural engineer; Cincinnati), and Danis Construction Company (general contractor; Columbus, Ohio).
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
