Christiana Care Microhospital Nears Opening In Aston, Pennsylvania

The $50 million project houses a 10-bed ED, imaging, and 10 inpatient beds.

ChristianaCare (Wilmington, Del.) is nearing completion on a $50 million microhospital in Aston, Pa., according to cbsnews.com.

The facility, expected to open this summer, features 10 inpatient beds, a full-service emergency department (ED) with 10 beds, and an imaging department.

The microhospital occupies the first floor of a building that will also house an outpatient care center on the second floor. The outpatient center is expected to open in the fall.
