Citizens Health (Hattiesburg, Miss.) opened a $105 million replacement hospital for Citizens Medical Center in Colby, Kan., according to a news release from McCarthy Building Companies (St. Louis, Miss.), which served as the general contractor on the project.
The 171,000-square-foot critical access hospital houses 25 inpatient beds, a full-service emergency department (ED), and surgery department with four operating rooms (ORs).
HGF Architects (Pueblo, Colo.) served as the design architect on the project.
