Corewell Health Plans New Patient Tower at Beaumont Troy Hospital In Troy, Michigan

The 132,000-square-foot expansion will add 94 beds, bringing the hospital’s total bed count to 624.

Corewell Health (Grand Rapids, Mich.) announced plans to build a new patient tower at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, Mich., according to a news release.

The project consists of a 132,000-square-foot tower to house 94 beds, bringing the hospital’s total bed count to 624 and increasing the percentage of private rooms from 40 percent to 72 percent.

Additionally, a new 128,000-square-foot parking deck with a connecting pedestrian bridge is part of the project proposal.

Construction is expected to begin by fall 2027, with project completion targeted for 2030.
