Doylestown Health Completes Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion
Doylestown Health (Doylestown, Pennsylvania) and the S/L/A/M Collaborative (SLAM) (formerly CBRE | Heery Design Group), in partnership with Doylestown Health, completed a new $54 million, 100,000-square-foot Doylestown Hospital, called the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion, in Doylestown, Pa.
The building features a glass atrium that connects the three-story bed wing to the existing hospital. The second floor houses the Center for Heart and Vascular Care. The cardiovascular center includes expanded services, 28 private universal patient rooms designed to flex up to cardiovascular intensive care and interventional vascular beds, and a 20 pre- and post-op bay cath lab, featuring a radial lounge.
The future fit outs include a 32-universal patient room intensive care/intermediate unit on the third floor, under construction, and an outpatient cardiac services suite on the first floor, currently in planning, which will include cardiac diagnostic testing, physician’s offices, and a cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation gym.
