Duke Health Cary Expansion To Add ED, Inpatient Hospital To Existing Clinics In Cary, North Carolina

The project is part of a mixed-use development on an 85-acre site.

Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.) is expanding its Duke Health Cary campus in Cary, N.C., according to a news release.

The project will add an inpatient hospital with 40 beds, an emergency department (ED), and surgery, imaging, endoscopy, infusion, and cancer care suites. The Duke Health Cary campus currently houses two primary care clinics and several specialty clinics.

The expanded campus will be part of a mixed-use development on an 85-acre site. Construction on the inpatient hospital is expected to be completed in 2027.
