Encompass Health (Vestavia Hills, Ala.) and Baptist St. Anthony’s Health System (BSA Health; Amarillo, Texas) are partnering to open a new rehabilitation hospital in Amarillo later this year, according to newschannel10.com.
The 50-bed inpatient rehab hospital will replace an existing 24-bed rehab unit at the main BSA Health campus, which will repurpose that space to expand acute care capacity.
The new rehab hospital will feature private rooms, a large therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an activities of daily living suite, in-house dialysis, a pharmacy, dining room, and a therapy courtyard.
