Encompass Health, a provider of post-acute healthcare services headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., is planning a new a freestanding, inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Clermont, Fla.
The 50-bed project, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clermont, will provide physical, occupational, and speech therapies. It will also house patients recovering from strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions.
The project will feature all private patient rooms, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies and an activities of daily living suite, cafeteria, dining room, pharmacy, and therapy courtyard.
