Encompass Health (Birmingham, Ala.) opened the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo in Irmo, Ohio, according to a news release.
The 53,000-square-foot freestanding hospital offers services to help patients recover from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions.
In addition to 49 private patient rooms, the facility houses a light-filled therapy gym, activities of daily living suite, dialysis suite, pharmacy, and dayroom areas. A landscaped therapy courtyard provides outdoor recreational areas.
