Environments For Aging To Hold Virtual Spring Summit
Environments for Aging will hold the 2021 EFA Spring Summit online April 27-28, with a session lineup focused on pandemic response in the senior living design community.
Created as a supplement to the in-person EFA Expo & Conference scheduled for August 28-31 in Chattanooga, Tenn., the virtual summit features two days of online education and networking.
Attendees can earn up to 4 AIA HSW continuing education credits during the event.
The schedule includes an opening roundtable discussion led by Jennifer Kovacs Silvis, editor-in-chief of EFA, featuring leaders of senior living design firms and owners/operators who will discuss the successful projects they’ve delivered together and how those projects have weathered the past year. Additionally, sessions will explore topics tied to balancing safety and aesthetics, building assessments in a post-pandemic world, and how COVID-19 has influenced design and production specification to support infection control initiatives.
Additionally, the event will offer attendees networking opportunities including breakout sessions for Q+As with speakers and a happy half-hour.
Registration opens Tuesday, March 23. For more information and to register, visit https://environmentsforaging.com/summit/.
