Exalt Health (Garland, Texas) and Ryan Companies (Tampa, Fla.) have started construction on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Riverview, Fla., according to a news release.
The 39,093-square-foot project comprises 40 beds for post-acute rehabilitation across neurological, musculoskeletal, rheumatic, cardiovascular, and other complex conditions.
Ryan Companies, which is partnering with Exalt Health to finance, develop, and own the hospital, is also serving as general contractor. E4H Architecture (Boston) is the architect, and Kimley-Horn (Orlando, Fla.) is the civil engineer.
The hospital is expected to open in late summer 2027.
