Exalt Health (Garland, Texas) held groundbreaking ceremonies to mark the start of construction on three new rehabilitation hospitals in Florida, according to a news release.
The $30 million project will consist of three hospitals with 40 beds each in Wellen Park, Fla., Daytona Beach, Fla., and Orange Park, Fla. The hospitals will deliver specialized care including neurological, orthopedic, and cardiac recovery, as well as comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
The project team will include a joint venture of Catamount Constructors (Roswell, Ga.) and Freese Johnson (Marietta, Ga.) as the builder.
The Orange Park hospital is slated to open in early 2026, followed by the Wellen Park and Daytona Beach hospitals in mid-2026.
