Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association’s board of directors and administration have agreed to expand and develop new services for patients. Department expansions include: surgical services, emergency medicine, urgent care, and additional physician offices for its expanding specialty services in the next two years. Also included in the project are plans to build a new skilled care unit.
Groundbreaking for the expansion project happened earlier this month on the front lawn of Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Fairfield, Ill.
