General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Nears Completion In Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

The replacement hospital will provide inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, and surgical care services.

The new General Leonard Wood Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., is nearing completion, according to a news release from the U.S. Army.

On track to open in spring 2026, the new facility will replace one of the oldest military hospitals in the continental U.S., according to the Army.

The hospital will provide inpatient and outpatient care, as well as advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical suites.
