Market research firm The Business Research Company (London) predicts that global spending by healthcare organizations on Internet of Things (IoT) technology will reach $716.8 billion by 2030, according to its IoT in Healthcare Market Report 2026.
The report, published in July, states that the IoT in healthcare market was valued at $280.8 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.3 percent over the next five years.
IoT in healthcare includes wireless communication and other systems—such as sensors and medical devices equipped with artificial intelligence (AI)—that support applications such as telemedicine, remote monitoring of patients, and workflow and medication management.
North American healthcare organizations accounted for the largest share of IoT investment in 2025, while Asia-Pacific was the fastest-growing region in terms of spending.
