Goodwyn Mills Cawood Appoints Vice President of Healthcare Business Development

Chip DeShields will lead efforts to grow the firm’s portfolio of healthcare projects in the Southeast U.S.

Architecture and engineering firm Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC; Birmingham, Ala.) has appointed Chip DeShields as vice president of healthcare business development, based in the firm’s Birmingham office, according to a news release.

DeShields brings nearly three decades of experience in strategic planning and implementation. He serves as a fellow and vice president of business development for the Health Facility Institute (South Boston, Va.) and is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE; Chicago).
