Grand Island Regional Hospital Breaks Ground

Construction has started on a new four-story, 174,000-square-foot, full-service community hospital in Grand Island, Neb.

Grand Island Regional Hospital, designed by HDR, will feature 64 beds. Services offered will include emergency care, surgery, labor and delivery, imaging and diagnostics (radiation, fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound), endoscopy, interventional procedures, a cath lab, and a pharmacy.

The project is expected to be completed in October 2019 and to serve patients beginning in 2020.
