Grandview Cancer Center in Birmingham, Ala., celebrated a construction milestone with the topping out of its new freestanding cancer center located on the Grandview Medical Center campus. The final beam was placed on the 26,000-square-foot structure.
The cancer center will include a linear accelerator, pharmacy, three chemotherapy infusion bays, and PET/CT scans.
Earl Swensson Associates is serving as architect of the project and Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor.
