Halton Healthcare (Oakville, Ontario) has started construction on a $150 million expansion of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) and Milton District Hospital (MDH), according to a news release.
The project is set to add 111 beds at OTMH in Oakville, Ontario, and 12 beds at MDH in Milton, Ontario.
The fast-track construction activates purpose-built but unfinished space across three floors at OTMH and one floor at MDH.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with the expanded spaces anticipated to open by spring 2028.
