HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital On Track To Open In Spring 2026

The 205,000-square-foot hospital expands the existing HCA Florida North Florida Hospital with 60 medical/surgical beds and 30 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

Healthcare provider HCA Florida (Tampa, Fla.) is on track to open HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., in spring 2026, according to The Gainesville Sun.

The $230 million facility is an expansion of the existing 523-bed HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and adds 60 medical/surgical beds and 30 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

The 4-story, 205,000-square-foot building also includes four operating rooms (ORs), an emergency department (ED), and surgical and imaging services.

The project team includes Charles Perry Partners (builder; Gainesville, Fla.).
