Health First Plans $230M Expansion Of Palm Bay Hospital In Palm Bay, Florida

Healthcare provider Health First (Rockledge, Fla.) is planning to expand Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay, Fla., according to a news release.

The $230 million project will include a new 5-floor patient tower that will house 60 inpatient beds, expanded operating rooms (ORs), catheterization labs, pre-operative and recovery rooms, and an upgraded sterile processing department.

The tower will also comprise two shelled floors that could support up to 60 additional inpatient beds.

The schematic design phase of the project is expected to begin this summer, with construction slated to start in the summer of 2026 and be completed in 2028.
