Healthcare Design has announced the winners and finalists of the Healthcare Design Showcase awards program, which is in its 25th year of showcasing projects for high achievements in design and architecture.
A jury of experts reviewed submissions and selected two projects for the top Award of Merit honor. Four projects were awarded honorable mention, and four other projects were finalists.
Award of Merit winners are:
City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, Hope Plaza (Duarte, Calif.), submitted by EwingCole (Irvine, Calif.) and CO Architects (Los Angeles)
Och Spine at NewYork-Presbyterian/The Spiral (New York), submitted by Array Architects (New York)
Honorable mentions go to:
April Sampson Cancer Center (Lincoln, Neb.), submitted by Ballinger (Philadelphia)
Jefferson Health, Honickman Center (Philadelphia), submitted by Stantec (Philadelphia) and Ennead Architects (New York)
Norman Regional Hospital’s expansion (Norman, Okla.), submitted by HGA (Minneapolis, Minn.)
North Carolina Surgical Hospital (Chapel Hill, N.C.), submitted by Page (Raleigh)

Intermountain Health Luteran replacement hospital (Wheat Ridge, Colo.), submitted by HDR (Denver)

University of Rochester Medical Center Saunders Center for Orthopaedics & Physical Performance (Rochester, N.Y.), submitted by The SLAM Collaborative Inc. (New York) and Perkins & Will (New York)
Awards will be presented during a special luncheon at the annual Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, Oct. 25-28 in Kansas City, Mo. All accepted projects will be published in the August 2025 issue of Healthcare Design.
