Healthcare Design magazine is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 HCD 10 awards. This prestigious program recognizes exceptional individuals and one organization across 10 categories for advancing the field of healthcare design.
Each year, the magazine’s editorial team reviews numerous nominations, focusing on achievements from the past year that demonstrate leadership, creativity, and meaningful impact on healthcare projects and initiatives.
Introducing the 2026 HCD 10 honorees
- Architect: Angela Kolosky, principal, healthcare planning market leader, DesignGroup
- Building professional: Kevin Sandrella, partner, project manager, CMTA
- Clinician: Annette Roehl, nurse/healthcare facilities design strategist, Froedtert ThedaCare Health
- Educator: Elizabeth Johnson, assistant professor, Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing, Montana State University
- Facility manager: Kyle Sunderlin, national engineering manager, Ascension
- Interior designer: Donald Cremers, senior principal and senior project interior designer, HOK
- Owner/provider: Kristin Poldemann, associate vice president – design and construction, The Ohio State University

Recognizing the 2026 HCD 10
Coverage of the winners and their achievements will be featured in the June/July issue of Healthcare Design magazine and online.
Additionally, the 2026 HCD 10 will be celebrated in person during an awards gala at the upcoming HCD Forum to take place June 24-26 at The Mills House in Charleston, S.C. They’ll also be recognized at the magazine’s Awards Luncheon during the 2026 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, scheduled for Oct. 17-20 in New Orleans.
