Healthcare Design is now accepting nominations for its annual Rising Star Awards program, which recognizes newcomers to the healthcare design industry who are positioned to be the industry’s great leaders. The deadline for nominations is May 4.
The Rising Star awards celebrate emerging leaders in fields such as architect, interior designer, engineer, construction professional, researcher, and academic who are directly involved in the design of healthcare environments.
To be selected, nominees must have worked in healthcare design for fewer than 10 years and have a body of work over the past two years that collectively sets them apart from their peers. Additionally, nominations should illustrate how the individual has come to embrace healthcare as a design sector and why he or she stands to be the face of the industry in coming years.

The winners of the Rising Star Awards will be featured in Healthcare Design’s October issue and celebrated during an Awards Luncheon at the 2026 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, to be held Oct. 17-20 in New Orleans.
