Detroit-based Henry Ford Health unveiled the new $265 million Janet & Jim Riehl North Tower at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Mich., according to the website dbusiness.com.

The five-story, 225,000-square-foot project connects to the existing hospital and has 160 private patient rooms, which are designed to flex to intensive care rooms as needed.

The new tower also houses rooms designed for patients with disabilities on each floor and additional intensive care beds (increasing the hospital’s ICU beds from 48 to 60 beds).

Staff spaces include a lounge, conference room, locker room, quiet room, and lactation room.
