HKS (Denver) has appointed Scott Nelson as principal and health studio practice leader for the Mountain West region, based in the firm’s Denver office, according to a news release.
Nelson brings nearly four decades of experience in healthcare facility planning, design, and construction, including 14 years as system vice president of planning, design, and construction at Advocate Aurora Health.
In his new role at HKS, Nelson will focus on helping health systems to maximize capital investments while creating environments that advance patient well-being.
