RWJBarnabas Health (West Orange, N.J.) and Rutgers Cancer Institute (New Brunswick, N.J.) unveiled the new Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center in New Brunswick, according to a news release.
The 12-story, 520,000-square-foot facility houses 96 inpatient beds, a dedicated surgical and procedure floor, advanced radiation and oncology, pharmacy, and labs to support 10 independent research teams.
It also includes 88 infusion bays and 80 exam rooms for adult and pediatric outpatient care.
The $1.5 billion project connects via a skybridge to the Rutgers Cancer Institute and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
The project team includes O’Donnell & Naccarato (Philadelphia) as the structural engineer and New Brunswick Development Corporation (New Brunswick, N.J.) as the developer.
