Kaiser Permanente Plans To Replace Sunnyside Medical Center With New Hospital Tower In Clackamas, Oregon

The 615,000-square-foot project is slated to open in  2029.

Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, Calif.) announced in a news release that it plans replace its Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Ore., with a new 7-story, 615,000-square-foot hospital tower on the east side of the Sunnyside campus.

All private patient rooms, in-room telemedicine capabilities, advanced robotics and image-guided surgical equipment, and greater emergency department capacity are planned.

Site work is set to start later this year, and the hospital is expected to open in 2029.
