Kettering Health Network To Expand Grandview Medical Center

The $25 million emergency department upgrade in Dayton, Ohio, includes a new three-bed patient triage area, a CT scan suite, nine advanced care patient bays, two new trauma patient procedure rooms, and a consultation room.

In February, Kettering Health Network broke ground on an expansion and renovation at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Acording to a press release, the project includes a $25 million emergency department upgrade and enhancements in additional specialized care services. It also feature a new three-bed patient triage area, a consultation room, nine advanced care patient bays, two new trauma patient procedure rooms, and a new CT scan suite.

In addition the expansion will bring two new track-mounted x-ray systems, a CT scanner, patient telemetry monitoring system, and energy-efficient heating and air conditioning units.

All major work is scheduled for completion in November. The project team includes Danis Building Construction Co. (construction manager) and Pinnacle Architects (architect).
