Lehigh Valley Health Network To Build New Project
Update March 12, 2024: Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Macungie opened in Macungie, Ind. LVH–Macungie is the first of several neighborhood hospitals LVHN is planning to build in the region, according to the website lvhn.org. It includes full-service emergency department with 11 beds, a 10-bed inpatient medical unit, and ambulatory diagnostic services.
Lehigh Valley Health Network (Allentown, Pa.) plans to build a state-licensed, federally accredited hospital and a 10,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB) in Macungie, Pa., according to an article in The Morning Call.
The approximately 23,000-square-foot, single-story hospital will include an emergency department (ED) with 10 beds and 11 exam rooms.
Embree Development Group (Georgetown, Texas) is the developer on the project.
