McKenzie Health System Moves Forward With Plans To Build Replacement Hospital In Sandusky, Michigan

The health provider has received a letter of conditions for a direct federal loan to build, with construction expected to start this year and be completed by the end of 2026.

McKenzie Health System (Sandusky, Mich.) is moving forward on its plans to build a replacement hospital in Sandusky after receiving a letter of conditions for a direct loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Facilities Program (Washington, D.C.), according to a news release.

The project to replace the hospital on the health system’s main campus is expected to begin construction in the third quarter of this year and be completed by the end of 2026.
