McLeod Health Carolina Forest Hospital is on track to open this fall on a 42-acre campus in Myrtle Beach, S.C., according to MyHorryNews.

The replacement hospital is being constructed in the master-planned community of Carolina Forest, where McLeod Health (Florence, S.C.) also operates a freestanding emergency department (ED).

The project comprises a 4-story facility with 48 inpatient beds and a 24/7 ED. Planned services include radiology, lab, surgery, pharmacy, and rehabilitation.
