McLeod Health Has Groundbreaking For 48-Bed Hospital In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

The four-story acute care facility will house operating suites, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services.

McLeod Health (Florence, S.C.) is expanding with the addition of a 48-bed inpatient hospital to its existing campus in Carolina Forest, a planned community in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The new $56 million, four-story McCleod Health Carolina Forest hospital broke ground on April 22 and is expected to open in 2026, according to a news release.

The new facility will include operating rooms, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services

McCleod Health Carolina Forest’s current services include outpatient, primary care, specialty care, and emergency.
