Michigan Medicine Completes D. Dan And Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion

University of Michigan health system Michigan Medicine (Ann Arbor, Mich.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark completion of construction on the 690,000-square-foot  D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion on its main campus in Ann Arbor, according to MLive.com.

Expected to open to patients by the end of the year, the new 12-story tower houses 264 patient beds, 20 surgical suites, and three interventional radiology suites.

The $920 million facility, designed by HOK (architect and interior designer; New York), also houses a state-of-the-art neurosciences center and specialty services for cardiovascular and thoracic patients.
