Morristown Medical Center Completes ED Expansion, Modernization In Morristown, New Jersey

The project includes 12 new patient rooms, 12 low-acuity bays, two nursing and physician stations, an EKG room, and three private triage rooms in the waiting area.

Healthcare provider Atlantic Health System (Morristown, N.J.) completed the final phase of its Sameth Emergency Department (ED) expansion and modernization at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, N.J., according to a news release.

The project includes 12 new patient rooms, 12 low-acuity bays, two nursing and physician stations, an EKG room, and three private triage rooms in the waiting area. In total, the project expands the number of treatment spaces in the ED from 78 to 120. In addition to the new spaces, the project included enhancements and technology upgrades to specialized treatment areas, triage, intake, behavioral health, and adult and pediatric emergency departments.
