Mount Sinai Medical Center Celebrates New Surgical Tower, Emergency Center

The $275 million, seven-story addition in Miami Beach, Fla., includes 154 private rooms and 12 large operating rooms.

Mount Sinai Medical Center has opened its new $275 million, 340,000-square-foot project on its main campus in Miami Beach, Fla.

The seven-story Skolnick Surgical Tower features 154 private rooms, including larger VIP suites, and 12 large operating rooms.

The 35,000-square-foot Hildebrandt Emergency Center has 50 treatment bays. There is also a two-story atrium and a courtyard.

The project teams includes Robins & Morton (general contractor); Adams Management Services Corp. (construction manager); Cannon Design (architect, engineer, interior and lighting design services); and Crawford-Tracey Corp. (exterior glazing).
