A new state hospital for behavioral health is being planned in Bismarck, N.D., according to kfyrtv.com.

The $300 million replacement hospital will house 140 beds and is anticipated to begin construction this summer. It will be located adjacent to the James River Correctional Center and visually separated by a row of trees.

The project is expected to take two years to complete and open in 2028.
